Authors' Notes
Hi guys, I'm baaack.
I haven't been around because I've been moving house. I decided to not get the internet at home, and not use the computer so much. Its been interesting having a life to say the least :P
A song that doesn't take itself too seriously.

this is a rad track, great beat and really funky synth work and a lot of timbral variety! good job

I like this song. Sounds like an after hours tune made by a professional musician. Everything is in order here.
You kinda violated the "must be 100% original" rule, though (the x-files melody) ;)

Haha. This song has so much going on, i don't know where to start. The beat reminds me of Roxette's - Fireworks and obviously the x-files reference is there, but doesn't make it non-original. The x-files reference is obviously just a little homage. I dig that ;) This is a very interesting song, and I don't buy that "A song that doesn't take itself too seriously" one bit. It's very fun and progressive tune, and it shows that you have lots of experience. Top 5 for me ;)

very very very veeery good arrangement!!! and i love those funny sounds you got in there :-)
intro theme is perfect for me.
very nice "classic music" themes in there. definetly top five, maybe top1 ...
one of the best things is the sick bassynth at the end of this tune. ;-)
playing this track again and again .................... -dEViLOCk-

funny! when i listen to the beginning part, i love how it "falls apart" during the x-files theme. i imagine a bunch of live musicians just improvising/jamming, and then they realize they are accidentally playing the x-files theme... and then they're just like "oh shit :( ".... and they stop and then start over. i guess this is how you intended it :)
great songwriting as always. solid melodies, good percussion. very funky and nice production. your songs are always a joy to listen to!

could've done without the X-Files... don't need to be paying royalties to Mark Snow. so many layers of sound! awesome stuff Mick.
