I dunno... I think I'd like it more if it was 149.9984, but that's just me. :)
Awesome use of instruments and filters. Very dreamy and flows with energy. The second part feels a bit aimless right now, or maybe I'll just have to listen to it again to grasp it completely. Well done IO. :)

you're right... a couple of the notes are kind of wacky near the second part... i'm still working on the song & trying to tighten it up a little bit , along with using some different drum samples and a better bass synth ... for a "public release" version :)

well, it certainly is trance... the beat really bugs me, i used to have this friend who did that same beat in like every track and it sounded so terrible, i wish it had a little bit of a swing to it or something, its not difficult at all to come up with interesting and funky beats for trance, just that standard "this is a dance beat innit" without much thought or craftsmanship.

i like the second part alot +the synth work and melody stuff is not bad at all which is sad because the beat really ruins the track for me. it has no swing or funk to it at all imho and just grates on my ears.

doh! i always have 0 ideas when it comes to trance beats :(

I think this tracks suffers from variety and like already mentioned the minimalistic beat.
In my opinion the use of VST especially of the kind that were used in this round make it easy to let a track sound "good" or at least nice. I can imagine, that the track would sound, well, cheaper if samples would have been used that needed to be modified manually. That is the case in most of the entries for this round.
Another problem is the mastering of the tracks - i assume that you did not concentrate on the volume adjustment. At the moment the track is just loud and there is no focus on any part. Same is with the Reverb.
I wonder what the basis for voting and "reviewing" should be in this community. It seems that the majority focuses on their own taste and style and not on the techniques or "the artist point of view" - atm the comments or votings are worthless in my eyes.
But nevertheless as well from a listeners as an artists point of view your track does not highlight for this round.

nice melodies in this song! i think the sound could have been much better. for example the "main lead" sound is to hard i think.
perhaps you should have spend more time with mixing too add a little bit "transparency" to the song.

bassdrum is very hard, but I like the melody very much, very nice track! played this track quite a lot times, the song has something dreamy and powerfull.

cool trace, great filters and beat. how's it sound if you make the bass an octave lower? long live 149.99999997bpm.

oh procrastination . . . i love thee so . . .

Just relistened because of your LoFi mix. Wow! it sounds so classic, perfect melodies! How can I not comment at that time...?? :)
