Sounds a bit like a didgeridoo playing in the intro. Quite appropriate ;-) Cool melody, excellent production, great song man.

the monotone bassline is so badass with all this music and instrumentation around it.
such an amazing track! i want to have sex with it.

Agreed, badass sounding synths abound here. The chiptune composing style comes through on this track in the arrangements, except it's all done with VSTi's, making it sound really smooth. Stellar production too. Solid!

too bad we somewhat lost connection concerning our colab - hope that plan is just postponed and not canceled. :)
regarding the song:
the melody is nice especially as it evolves to something becoming kinda melancholic and apathetic, i love such moods.
production is crisp and very pleasant to my ears especially with all the SFX going on with the joyful panning.
very good track once more - but very good means you had plenty of way better ones too ;)

I found the drum rhythm a bit uninteresting.. liked the ambient effects. Really made me think of Future Sound of London towards the latter parts.

i'm not sure if people know this, but i know you've been delivering tracks for quite many years now and you (among others of course) were my inspiration when i started composing more than ten years ago... extremely fun to see that you are still in the business!

so cool. i love your music mickrip. loved the 'didgeridoo' sound at the start and the little 'meows' in the background.

Creativity in progress.

Great :). Only the snare gets anoying in time. The track is very well mixed. I like it.

^damn, why did you have to mention the snare? i was soooo engrossed in the music i didn't care.
still, in defense, there's a filter or some effect going on with the snare to adapt to the tune. didn't detract from it at all - until pointed out :P next time listening will hopefully be as it was.
btw Sam: i know this as a demoscene fanboy for a long time: Mick Rippon is no stranger!

yeah the snare is pretty harsh, feels like some of the higher eq could be brought down on it. this song pleases me though because Mick has broken out of his recent rhythmic box and brings us a song that doesn't rely so heavily on the swing effect :)
this song has some nice, somber melodies.. but ultimately they are forgettable. it's a solid song, but i don't see myself listening to it far into the future like some of your tunes. this should be in the deus ex soundtrack or something
