got to a certain point into this song and then couldn't really figure out where to take it, but didn't want it to be the same repetition... thus the disjointedness. i still have a lot to learn about transitions :)

Aye, I've had the same problem too many times, there's a lot of stuff in here. Very progressive... but going back to a previous theme doesn't have to be repetition, if you expand on it, build on it.

Some nice melodies and ideas in this track. The hihats at the tempo change at pattern 21 sounded offbeat. I like the pickup and melodies at pattern 34.
