Wow man, very long patterns! Like the long dark notes with the awesome exp., variating beat. It rocks! Why a loop? No time for proper ending?

No, thats how I like to do things really. I have a unregistered copy of renoise, will buy as soon as I get some money, so to get a audio file I just record the output and I like to fade the track out looping. I guess I forgot to do some proper automation for this compo.

This is some nice idm flow. Very minimal. Beautiful how it slowly slowly creeps a buildup. I think the song really takes its stride about 3/4 of the way through, with the haunting strings and the retrigs. Very cool

chill but driven and funky tech. good one!

I really love the glitchy IDM beats here. I think maybe the low synth sounds a bit dry. The high sine drones and the various fx are great... I really like this one a lot. A bit repetitive perhaps, maybe the low synth could change its tune at some point. Regardless, cool tune.

Thanks, I appreciate your comments. I think because I enjoy the kinda feel of rough cut sampling and kinda wanted a tape like character I left it kinda dry for that. I though about mixing up the synthlines but decided against it because, first I was lazy, second I felt at the time that it was adequate and would force the listener to focus on the beats which is the main hook.
