Authors' Notes

Chip sounds are cool.
Let's do another one of these.
Tried to make it a bit eerie but it just came out as lots of (even more than I usually use) delay.
Peace out.
Intrigued to hear what others will manage.

Hey man. This is the only song I've listened to so far. Sounds like you've done a good job at producing unique sounds here. Love the ambience behind the delay/reverb. Sonically & especially with the drumtrack, it reminds me of some Orbital from the mid-late 90's. Which is one of my favourite groups. :) Two distinct moods here, the first one definitely is very halloween-ish. We just carved our jack-o-lantern tonight.
The second part is my favourite, especially when the bassline starts to vary around 2:10. It's got a good flow, although I think the lead sounds could be stronger here. Phattened up and louder.
Good work for chippies. :) Your streak is untouchable. Almost 20 rounds now :)

Nice nice nice, minimalistic and smooth song. I like the sharp tones contrasting with the smooth and bassy tones. Great job!

I never said I was good at maths! You know... because you people add the "s" at the end which sounds completely hillarious to us on the other side of the pond :)

You do a lot with just five samples. I like the slow-moving phaser a lot. I agree that the lead could be a little louder, I like the ghosty vibrato at pattern 12 and would like to hear it more clearly. Overall, a solidly enjoyable track.

Hey ambtax1. Some sounds of your song are similar to mine espcially in the first half. Maybe that's the reason why you like mine ?
I agree with the others: this is a smooth song. I also like the second part starting at pattern 13. Pattern 17+18 pretty cool voice + chord sequence.
I also like the Sound and the lovely panning mellow in the second part of track1. Moreover bass+beat is great !
This will earn some points !

The atmosphere combined with the simplicity make this an awesome piece. Neat tonality switch from pattern 17 on.

A comparison, since Airmann started it, your mix is very terse and low on effect compared to Airmann's and, while the reverbs and delays don't sound quite so cavernous, it still achieves a great sound. The first note makes me thing I'm hearing a vocoder blip.

nice nice. lead and chords a bit in the bg, bring that out more?
this is great stuff, though. enjoying the minimalist approach. lack of large dsp chains show lots of foresight on your part, too. good job.
