great track, reminds me of like, blade runner, not necessarily in the sound, but in the feel of it.

the percussion felt very loose and free, the whole thing was really interesting and evocative and atmospheric great great great job!

I'm gonna 2nd the Blade Runner-esque of this track and I love it. Chotoro always brings an inspired and interesting track to the compo. Sounds very much like it's from a movie, I wish I could create stuff like this. Great ambience and atmosphere. Nice work, excellent track.

I third the blade runner theme. I got no complaints about this track whatsoever. Hits the spot again and again! Top Job!

i didn't like blade runner so i didn't watch all of it :|
i like the sound of the lead instrument and the bass, and the pads of course. not really fond of the "terminator hammer", but that's just cuz it reminds me of cheesy 80's industrial music :P
solid entry. you have a really unique sound for sure. keep up the good work

That lead sounds very good. I can almost see an artist performing that on a keyboard. I totally imagine this song performed live. Reminds me a lot of Peter Gabriel. Nice dynamics, sweet tune.

i can find a sound track for a graphic novel? is that the reference?

you've got a great skill at getting something totally different out of the samples. to open with - i didn't recognise the guiro - and thought there was something rubbing on my window... (then you started panning)

very spacious. great work!

Comment by Chotoro on 2006-06-15 01:04:15

Well, it's more like, if you've actually read the novel. :)

I really liked the atmosphere on this one, but it started to lose my interest (too much repetition). Over-all, great job!
