Authors' Notes
Never too late (to come home) A sentimental piece for this round. Made from some crappy drum samples and the one and only Synth1 :)
Pattern 4, 5 & 7 was supposed to have voice but it was to high for me to sing so I had to go with a lead synth instead...
Damn.. I wrote some sentimental lyrics for it... Maybe I should've asked my ex girlfriend.
Maybe later. ...cause it's never too late.

Some of you used the 4F VST piano... damn I wish I had it too in the part from 2:42.... Well now it really *IS* too late. ;)

Hi,
this i a real blast, very well done.
I think the 2:42 min part sounds also great without a piano.

You consistently come up with great tracks juolac, nice one. Like being hit by a tidal wave of different synths ( ;) ) with solid rhythm section to keep it all together. Impressive you managed to mix all this so it didn't sound like a mess. A very fun track =]

It is fairly generic euro/techno stuff. Very well executed though.
I can definitely here it on an Ibizan album.
I think sticking a 'maximiser' on the mix may have helped (unless you have, not checked the xrns).
Maybe a little more compression for some 'bounce. The bass also seems lacking just a touch.
The mix is superb. All the synths are nice and clear. Well seperated.
I enjoyed.

I admire the mix. All synths sit in perfectly. An excellent track, even though the style is that of mainstream music. It's a good thing, actually :)

Thanks for the comments. I like making more "mainstream" maybe because my friends was critical to my old amiga style :)
Maybe I distroyed it in my last mixing because it did have more bounce but was afraid it would be overwhelming so I EQ:ed the 50 and 100 Hz down...
Difficult to judge the sound using headphones or crappy speakers.
I really want to learn how to use compressor, maximizer and EQ properly. I want to do a coop with someone who is good at it :)

Absolutely Ibizza compatible ... I love the energy in this song, as I love it in most of your other songs.
You tend to write good catchy/happy "feel-well" songs with good song-structures for good party-atmosphere. I like it.
Keep it up dude !
