Reminds me of the band KFMDM, in a good way.

Doing rock stuff in a tracker is hard, but the industrial rock feel you set up here is really good. The sung vocals around 2:00 feel a bit weak compared to the rest, I understand what you are going for there but the falsetto is not exactly doing the trick. Really like what you did here though.

Hey you guys! Really glad to see you are active again Aged. The production on this track is fantastic. Love the screaming synths. Excellent vocals.. I like where you are saying "we have the right to rise against and criticize authority". Sounds really good.

Percussion and guitars are all really nice. It all blends into a very cohesive whole.

Great job to both of you!

Great job guys! Very well done! The fx, instrumentation, mixing, etc. was great. Looks like there's a lot for me to learn here if I would study it. :)

Lots of energy and momentum in this, I love that the pace is supported by all instruments.

Love the fx chain of the distorted vox; you really nailed this one. The clean vox isn't as much of a success imo. I think if the 2 vox samples were in sync with each other it would have been better. Then it would allow you to boost it up a bit in the mix too.

The mixing is so well done that dare I say it becomes a detriment - it's sometimes too clean I think. Like maybe the hihat sound is so tight and clean, but maybe something more loose would be better.

I think Synth02 is really my fav track of this song - the way the melody behaves with the sound is pretty sweet. Also it fits perfectly with the rest of the tracks.

Killer. You pair up real well... a bit less reverb in the mix would benefit.. love the Tom waits-ish ending... Heavy... and you can distinctly hear the FLUKE sound here that JC has churned through his filters and made his own... paired up with the vocals it all gels nicely...

Damn! Dramatic! Rammstein came into my mind, and I think German lyrics would have sounded cool to this one, cant be only me thinking that?
Very good collaboration. Kudos for using Crystal as the only VST, I found it hard to use but you really mastered it.
I should start using section labels in the pattern list as you did, makes it easier to see the overview when arranging the song.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I wasn't that happy with those clean vocals either - almost wiped them out.
Tried to replace them with guitar solos but I only managed to create total chaos :D

I thought you might be interested to hear the first version we didn't finish/release ;)

Hey guys,
This is awesome! I don't mind the clean vocals. They seem a little pitchy to my ears though..maybe if they were a bit more crazy delayed/flanged or something it would be better.
Maybe a higher pitched vocal too..?

Comment by Airmann on 2012-05-06 18:45:57

Rich song, vox sound indeed a bit (!) Ramstein-like at some passages. The drums are great. Especially the high pitched (?) echo tom sound. Only thing to complain about: progression stucks into the same chord / base note all the time. Otherwise well done.

YEAH. You guys have nailed the industrial style spot on (from my limited hearing experience's perspective anyway, haha). The clean vocals really surprised me and is a nice change. I also like the fx on the synths.
