Authors' Notes

In deep space, a event occurs, the wave function of 5 entangled electrons suddenly collapse, locally producing time and consciousness and a series of dancing patterns. Quintuple Orbital by A-Lin.

I must confess, although I had a blast the other days doing it, today it doesn't sound that good anymore... I'm sure you know the feeling. Anyway, you'll be the judge... So your feedback is super welcome!!! Greetings to all!!!!

You always do a great job articulating real world instrument sounds. This is no exception. Very creative mix blending that with the synthetic sounding instruments. Really nice and thought out sound design and space. Quite enjoyable and beautiful!

I know exactly what you mean about being enamored by the sound you create during the initial process only to be disillusioned later. I think it is partly because you hear the music so much while making it that it becomes stale to you. The good thing is, it is fresh for the rest of us.. at least this sounded quite fresh to me. :)

Quintuple = 5/8 time, this is extremely well-composed.

so relaxed, so smooth ... the drum break near the end makes a good counterpoint.

Excellent composition :) I initially wasn't crazy about the blipping melody that makes its entrance at 1:40; it sounds cold and alien to the plucked guitar's warm pastoral. But as the piece develops and the rest of the parts are introduced and reintroduced it begins to mesh nicely into a waltz of sorts...anyone tried waltzing to 5/8 before? It really helps that I like time signatures like 5/8 and 10/8. Overall, a great piece.

Excellent creative tune ! Love the plugged guitar, the melody, overall progression and mix. A clear and well deserved winner !
